Set against the backdrop of a struggling industrial landscape, this gripping drama delves deeper into the complex web of corruption, crime, and shattered dreams that haunt the town’s inhabitants.

As the title suggests, “Broken Justice” explores the inherent flaws and failures of the legal system, particularly in small, economically depressed communities like Buell. At the center of the storm is Sheriff Del Harris, played with raw intensity by Emmy-nominated actor Jeff Daniels. Haunted by his own past mistakes and desperate to restore order to his town, Harris finds himself torn between his duty to uphold the law and his sense of justice.

Meanwhile, prosecutor Lee English, portrayed with steely resolve by Emmy-winning actress Maura Tierney, grapples with the moral ambiguity of her profession as she navigates the murky waters of Buell’s legal system. As the season progresses, the lines between right and wrong blur, and alliances are tested as the characters are forced to confront the harsh realities of life in a town where justice is often elusive.
